ohh lala...

 Christian Dior's new Haute Couture Spring-Summer 2012 has been released, and I LOVE the romantic french vintage twist. The chic haircut along with the very elegant, feminine dresses, skirts and blouses were so lovely, S/S 2012 is set to be a good'un, il est très très jolie!

 Sheer is still clearly a continuing trend from A/W...

 As is nude, hooray!

Textures were a main feature in A/W too, and that has theme has also continued on in the Dior S/S 2012, however mainly in evening wear...

One truly beautiful collection, cannot WAIT for summer now..

My Boy Lollypop

It may be getting colder by the day but that doesn't stop me longing after black tight-free outfits and Spring's pastel colours.

However you wear them, these sweet shades of spring are sure to put a spring in your step.

all that glitters...

Golden Globes 2012 on Sunday night, and there were some FABS, and then some not so's...
On the fab front there was Emma Stone, looking B E A UTIFUL in Lanvin.
then there was Miss Deschanel in Prada...
WITH, might i add, extremly kooky nails...
100% a fan of these!

Then, lastly Diana Argon, looking stunning as ever in a Giles Deacon, laser cut red BOMBSHELL. Hello!

On the not so fab front, we had an interesting shout from Madonna in Reem Acra...

and Miss Osbourne in Zac Posen; Granny chic taken too far...

O Tell Me The Truth About Love...

Some say love's a little boy,
And some say it's a bird,
Some say it makes the world go around,
Some say that's absurd,
And when I asked the man next-door,
Who looked as if he knew,
His wife got very cross indeed,
And said it wouldn't do.

Does it look like a pair of pyjamas,
Or the ham in a temperance hotel?
Does its odour remind one of llamas,
Or has it a comforting smell?
Is it prickly to touch as a hedge is,
Or soft as eiderdown fluff?
Is it sharp or quite smooth at the edges?
O tell me the truth about love.

Our history books refer to it
In cryptic little notes,
It's quite a common topic on
The Transatlantic boats;
I've found the subject mentioned in
Accounts of suicides,
And even seen it scribbled on
The backs of railway guides.

Does it howl like a hungry Alsatian,
Or boom like a military band?
Could one give a first-rate imitation
On a saw or a Steinway Grand?
Is its singing at parties a riot?
Does it only like Classical stuff?
Will it stop when one wants to be quiet?
O tell me the truth about love.

I looked inside the summer-house;
It wasn't over there;
I tried the Thames at Maidenhead,
And Brighton's bracing air.
I don't know what the blackbird sang,
Or what the tulip said;
But it wasn't in the chicken-run,
Or underneath the bed.

Can it pull extraordinary faces?
Is it usually sick on a swing?
Does it spend all its time at the races,
or fiddling with pieces of string?
Has it views of its own about money?
Does it think Patriotism enough?
Are its stories vulgar but funny?
O tell me the truth about love.

When it comes, will it come without warning
Just as I'm picking my nose?
Will it knock on my door in the morning,
Or tread in the bus on my toes?
Will it come like a change in the weather?
Will its greeting be courteous or rough?
Will it alter my life altogether?
O tell me the truth about love.

The Glugg

In response to B's too true post about the hideous plague that is the Ugg i have decided to share my hatred for the Ugg's second in command. The Glugg.

As second in commands go i would compare this evil item to say Goering? As if Ugg wasn't satisfied with making the female race look like they're half human half elephant, they had to go further and create this foul creature. Like the Ugg these 'mittens' are completely inappropriate for the season they are designed for. As soon as a light shower begins to fall you will find your gloves soaked through, your pinkies cold and you looking like you have shoved your hands up two dead hamsters arses'. Attractive right?

One of the many god awful parts of these beasts is that nobody knows how to wear them. They don't team them with a similarly coloured coat. No. Instead they team them with a completely random jacket and they become an instant eyesore to everyone who is in your company. Nightmare.

I suggest we should burn every Ugg and every Glugg on earth. I mean we burnt witches right? And these are clearly the production of evil forces. No doubt.
